At Creating Brighter Futures, we provide center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for individuals who have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders since 2013. Our goal is to provide the skills, teaching environments, and learning opportunities necessary to improve the quality of life for each of our clients in a center-based setting. Each child receives the best individualized, evidence-based treatments available. All treatment will be administered by well-trained registered behavior technicians and supervised by a qualified professional. Creating Brighter Futures is located in Ann Arbor, MI. This position is for a BCBA to work with children ages 2-18 years, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disorders. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for extensive training in behavior management and ability to model the application of empirically valid procedures in applied settings
  • Consults with and maintains a professional relationship with families, client, staff, and professionals
  • Provides direction in establishment of program goals, protocols, and procedures
  • Participates in meetings, in-services, and committees designed to improve programs
  • Consults with other professionals to provide collaborative programming and problem solve client issues
  • Develops program goals, protocols, programs, teaching methods, and data collection systems for all cases
  • Evaluates client’s progress through ongoing assessments. Including structured evaluations, informal rating scales, anecdotal observations, and parent interview
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts
  • Responsible for discharge, transition planning, and continuity of care
  • Completion of billing for services rendered

  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Provide ABA services to assigned individuals on your caseload totaling approximately 25 billable hours per week
    • Oversight of behavior technicians including training to become registered behavior technicians
    • Written and face-to-face feedback provided
    • Facilitate RBT training curriculum
    • Provide RBT supervision

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in the field of ABA
  • Experience overseeing RBT’s
  • Evaluation, program design, and implementation of behavior intervention plans
